Bond monies will go to the Charlotte Housing Trust Fund, matching private investment dollars, to provide affordable and well-maintained housing for low-income families in the Charlotte area.
- Multi-family new construction and rehabilitation
- Homeownership development in neighborhoods targeted for revitalization
- Special needs population including the elderly, disabled and homeless
- Acquisition of properties for the development of affordable housing
$5 million of the bond monies are targeted for the redevelopment of the Boulevard Homes public housing community on West Boulevard at Billy Graham Parkway.
